Stories upon stories

It is 2AM and the night sky still seems bright for some reason. It has been about 2 weeks since exams have ended.

I’ve managed to do a great number of things that I haven’t been able to do because of the exams. Simple joys like

  • Manicures and Pedicures
  • Watching back-to-back episodes of NCIS and catching up on Glee
  • Going out to catch movies at the cinemas
  • Hanging out with close friends

I have been blessed to be able to tutor 3 girls, fraternal triplets who are aged 6 grammar as well as math. It is rather enjoyable to be imparting correct usage of grammar to the young ones, who give me a hug at the end of lessons. They always ask me to play hide and seek with them.

My globe-trotting friends who are scattered all over the world are making me very jealous. At this moment, I have friends in USA, Paris, Osaka, Hong Kong, Australia.. As well as a few who have returned from Taiwan, Bangkok and Malaysia. I will get somewhere next year in any case, be it with friends or alone. One of my greatest and deepest passions is travel and I hope to explore the world throughout my lifetime because it opens up so many new perspectives on my Creator, and the beautiful people and places He has breathed life into.

Which brings me to the next point. Jobs. I’m doing them for the experience as well as the money. Of course I need some cash if I am going to be taking driving lessons/ travelling right? But I’m working mostly for experience! Why? I could be earning 9/h in a crusty little office hammering out excel spreadsheets on a desktop, but honestly no thanks, I would be bored to tears. I’d rather go out and face some real people, share experiences with them, serve them and help them.

Okay going to bed now, talk more soon! Meeting the girls for shopping tomorrow (since I fail at buying stuff and I have no fashion sense whatsoever) and a friend for dinner at night :)
